Seven Ways to Get Involved at Libraries

Satan is seeking to destroy our children. He is using powerful institutions and instruments and the only thing that can stand against him is God’s people. No government, National or Local, will save our children. No school or library board will fight Satan. He has conquered them. The church must stand in the gap. The church must answer God’s call to peaceful, Holy resistance. Here are seven ways for Hopedale Baptist Church to defend children.

1. Join the Library Board Meetings
a. Attend
b. Comment
c. Pray
d. Invite
2. Attend the Library Events on their schedule
a. Check out books which are faith based
b. Request faith based books from MOBIUS
3. Offer classes at the Library on their schedule
a. Theology
b. Bible Classes
c. Doctrinal Classes
4. Requests for Reconsideration
a. Provide Forms for church members so they can request some books be removed
b. Suggest books which the library doesn’t have to improve the collection
5. Work with Churches in the area to form a Friends of the Library to help change the collection in the library through donations
6. Pray for the Library
a. Pray for the Board
b. Pray for the salvation of the Staff
7. Promote our own library to our children and members
a. We have a duty to be a storehouse of knowledge
b. We should collect knowledge from our members about how to garden, can, and make clothes.
c. We should collect books which increase discipleship and books that defend against heresy.
